We talked to Queen's Professor Charles Pentland about the history, politics, capacities and international reputation of the United Nations, in celebration of October 24th, World UN Day. We also discussed the perception that Canada is a peacekeeping country, as well as where the next UN intervention could take place. Prof. Pentland also offered his opinion on possible reforms, particularly to the current system of veto power on the Security Council.
