Barry Whitton, broker and managing director at Burns & Wilcox, recently spoke with Insurance Journal’s Andrea Wells about what he sees for the next few years in the habitational property market. Whitton stated that he’s seen lots of turnover property so far in which owners of large portfolios divest themselves of poor performing properties, someone else picks them up, rents them out and then sells them. He said he expects this to continue in the future. The conversation took place at the 2019 WSIA Annual Marketplace in San Diego this September.
