In this audio lesson I’ll be answering a question from someone who has an iPhone and is annoyed by the fact that their phone downloads emails they’ve already read on their computer.
“Currently it downloads the last 50 emails, whether I’ve already read them or not. I only want to see new ones on the iPhone. How can I configure this?”
This problem is a common issue for people checking their email on multiple devices such as a computer and an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. The solution is to set your computer (or whichever device you’re checking email on first) to delete messages from the server after you delete them (or in some cases, simply move them) from your inbox.
In the audio lesson I’ll explain the whole thing in Plain English and give you tips on how to avoid this common problem of downloading duplicate emails.
