Description: John Asper had last killed a man in the Spring of 1869 and had decided then he would never kill another man but now he had changed his mind. A few weeks back he had been to see a clever lawyer named Rabb and signed some transfer papers saying that his boys owned his ranch now and would not have to wait until he died but Rabb knowing that Asper could not read cheated him out of his ranch. Asper felt that he had no alternative but to kill Rabb.
