The Stone Grave You Find Yourself In | Chodo Robert Campbell

Description:

What are the ingredients that go into your decisions today?

Sensei Chodo delivers a vulnerable dharma talk on a koan in which you find yourself trapped in an impossible situation and asks: “How can you get out?” Though koan practice is unusual in the Sōtō Zen sect, they are practiced and taught in the lineage of the New York Zen Center thanks to the influence of Rinzai on our predecessors. He concludes the talk with three contemplations on self-compassion, a resource generously shared by our friends at Lion’s Roar.
