We find out more from Sandra Langenus, general secretary of the transport workers' union BTB. A new report from the UN's International Labour Organisation says that whilst global unemployment has reduced, more and more of us have less secure jobs with fewer benefits. Damien Grimshaw is the ILO's research director, and fills us in on the details. We travel to Cyprus to hear how the Turkish northern half of the country has been attracting African and Asian students, with the promise of cheap tuition fees. Research this week suggests the world's insects are heading for extinction within the next 100 years. Environmental campaigner Jonathon Porritt discusses the implications. Plus the US gaming firm behind World of Warcraft, Activision Blizzard, has announced 800 job cuts, amounting to eight per cent of its workforce.
