Professor Mat Qvortrup is chair of political science at Coventry University, and has written a biography of Angela Merkel. He tells us what the implications are for the German economy. Also in the programme, Brazil has elected Jair Bolsonaro as its next president. Brazilian economist Zeina Latif outlines Mr Bolsonaro's economic policies, and we consider his potential impact on the environment, with Tica Minami, Greenpeace Brazil's Amazon campaign co-ordinator.
