Description: Iraqi Kurds have been voting in the first parliamentary elections in the semi-autonomous region of Kurdistan since a failed bid for independence last year. Kurdistan specialist Dr Janroj Keles, research fellow at Middlesex University tells us the significance of the election. The Reserve Bank of India meets this week and is expected to raise interest rates for the world's largest democracy. But with inflation declining, does it really need to raise rates? We ask independent economist Michael Hughes. California has became the first state in the US to require companies based within its borders to put female directors on their boards. Karlie Jelly is Chief Operating Officer at In Touch, in the UK, which connects non-executive directors and supplies them with job vacancies and is also a non-executive director herself. She tells us what it is like for women in the role. And social media is changing the way we eat - from #foodporn to restaurants serving up meals on iPads.
