Earlier this month she was granted permission to appeal that sentence. Her son, David, joins Jenni to talk about why he has campaigned for this, and her solicitor, Harriet Wistrich, explains what this appeal could mean for Sally and others. Oxford University is changing the way it teaches philosophy to put a greater emphasis on feminism. More professors in feminist philosophy and more women on reading lists are planned. Why make the change now and is there a need for a different approach in the way philosophy is taught in universities? Alison Hills, Oxford Professor of Philosophy and Katharine Jenkins Assistant Professor and lecturer in feminist philosophy at Nottingham University discuss. Before becoming a writer, Clare spent twelve years in the police force. She joins Jenni to discuss her latest novel and to compare life as a writer of psychological novels with being a detective.
