Higher or more efficient productivity is the mantra for success. Setting goals, checking off your bullet journal items, setting your tomato timer, filling out your success planner—they all intend the same thing—get more things done.
It seems the busier our worlds become, the more we need to stuff into the available hours. But since there are still only twenty-four hours in a day, productivity advice comes under new and improved catchphrases. Better efficiency techniques, organization strategies to remove obstacles, throwing out anything that doesn’t bring joy, and of course, Apps, Apps, and even more Apps.
At the end of the day, it’s just more ways to produce more in less time.
At Writers After Dark, our goal is more productive naps. We really like the idea of producing less in more time. We do, of course, realize that most people would love to do more so they could really nail all those plans.
So, in this episode, we’re getting productivity and taking on the productivity topic. We’ve even created this to-do list:
• What is the attraction to productivity in today’s uber-busy world?
• Where can it really benefit us?
• Where is the productivity all wrong?
• How do you know if you’re obsessed with personal production?
Plus, as always, we will provide our free, unsolicited advice to bring balance to your productive life. So, go ahead and add “listen to Wit Without Wisdom” to your to-do and set that as a recurring weekly task. |
