As Donald Trump faces possible criminal charges in New York, the former president faces another, and potentially more serious, legal threat. An appeals court ruled Wednesday that one of his own attorneys must testify before the grand jury investigating his handling of classified documents. The Federal Reserve raised the benchmark interest rate by a quarter percentage point. Itβs the ninth rate hike in a row the central bank has made over the past year to fight inflation, despite concerns it could lead to more instability in the banking system.
