This week Wellington Rocks talks to Wellington post punk rockers Deaf.
Having only formed in the last year, the speed of Deaf's emergence onto the Wellington scene has been extraordinary.
They have been on regular rotation on student radio like Wellington's Radioactive.fm with the singles "Truancy", "Shards" and "Dead End", and even opened for goth icon Peter Murphy.
They have now released their debut five track EP.
We talk to singer guitarist Luke Kavanagh about recording the EP at Blue Barn studios, the continuing appeal of post-punk into 2018, the formation of the band and what is a chav?
