Seemingly coming out of nowhere less than a month ago, Plaines stunned the Wellington scene by releasing their debut album and launching a tour right on arrival.
More than just a four piece band, Plaines also includes VJs as well as merchandise and visual artists.
We talk to Matt, Finn and Riley about how Plaines came to be, the importance of the visual element in music and their reaction to the sudden attention they've received.
