Shira OretzgyDr. Shira A. Oretzky is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Sport Psychologist, specializing in working with athletes (youth, high-school, collegiate, and professional) and in health and wellness coaching. She is a faculty member at San Diego State University, where she works with NCAA Division I athletes and has a private practice in La Jolla, California. Dr. Oretzky has been passionate about sports her entire life. She has been a competitive soccer and volleyball player as well as a competitive gymnast. She continues an active lifestyle as an adult by surfing, swimming, practicing yoga, and biking. Her enthusiasm for athletics has led her to work with many great athletes on improving their game and maximizing their potential through mental skills training.
