Scott GoldmanScott Goldman, Ph.D is the Director of Clinical and Sport Psychology for the University of Arizona’s athletic department. provides direct patient care to the student-athletes as well as consulting services for the coaches and staff. Dr. Goldman has provided mental health care in a variety of settings for amateur, collegiate, semi-professional, and professional athletes. Dr. Goldman is also the creator of the Athletic Intelligence Quotient (AIQ), an intelligence test that assesses the innate cognitive abilities that are most utilized in attaining, developing, and applying athletic skills, strategies, and tactics. Dr. Goldman has presented nationally and internationally as well as written about mental health issues in athletic and general populations. He serves on the review board that edited the 2012-2013 National Collegiate Athletic Association’s (NCAA) Sports Medicine Handbook. He is also a member of the sport psychology registry for the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as well as the NCAA Health and Safety Speaker Registry.
