Professor Alan Sherbaro is the Head Instructor of Tier 1 Training Facility in McKinney,Tx, as well as the founder of the We Defy Foundation. Prof. Alan is currently a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu jitsu under professor Octavio Couto. He has served his county in the U.S. Army, being 1 of only 4 black belts and the only 1 in the Special Forces Regiment.
Since leaving the army, Prof. Alan has dedicated his time to both Jiu Jitsu and his foundation, We Defy, a a501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of our military disabled service members through the use of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and physical fitness training.
