Shanti Abelha is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt based out of Copenhagen, Denmark. Shanti represents the Checkmat team and has received all of her belts from Leo Viera. Since starting Jiu Jitsu in her early 20’s Shanti has excelled at Jiu Jitsu, even though she admits to not being a natural at the art, through dedication and hard work has established herself as one of the top athletes in Europe. When she isn’t training, she has a full time job, and organizes world class women’s BJJ camps such as the BJJ Bonanza in Copenhagen. Please listen as Shanti and I Unite Jiu Jitsu.
