Hello and Happy Memorial Day. I want to first start by saying God Bless all of our service members who have died on foreign and domestic soil, affording me the opportunity to follow my dreams by giving the ultimate sacrifice. I have also grown to know a lot of service members over years and lots of them have a difficult time today because family members have died in service. If you are reading this, keep them in your prayers.

There will be no guest this week. One of the things I’ve learned is, when I drop shows on the same week as major tourneys, the listening seems to be very low.

Instead I will take this opportunity to update people on three new projects coming to www.uniteonthemat.com . The first being a new written blog portion of the site called, The Clean Gi. Inside the blog, you will get the chance to read articles from some of the most well respected BJJ athletes and company owners who support the sport. Always wanted a way to expand your blog writing chops, but didn’t have the outlet? Here is your chance. I will be reaching out, just as I have for U.T.P. for the best and the brightest, and that includes you.

The second thing I will discuss is your opportunty to document and discuss your most recent seminar. I plan on adding a section to the site tentatively called “seminar reviews”. In this section I will post YOUR reviews of seminars for others to see. They can be either written, video, or both.

Third, I will be giving permission for YOU to add your own seminar posters to Unite on the Mat. After you submit me an email, I will provide you will a login and password. Afterwards, you can create your own promo post of your upcoming seminar. Have video that you want to add? Do it!, the more the merrier.

As you can see, these updates are all about you. This project has always been about you, the roller and it will always remain that way.
