Alex Ecklin is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro, and owner and operator of Masterskya BJJ in Brooklyn, NY. Drawing from a local yoga studio, Alex got the idea of a donation based school, where you can donate based on the class, week, month, year, or a lifetime donation. During the episode, we discuss how Alex would rather roll, then go to the prom, his thoughts on keeping his students motivated by keeping Jiu Jitsu fun, and his plans after EBI 7.
