The Illinois General Assembly's veto session begins Tuesday, Oct. 24. In addition to taking votes on bills that Gov. Bruce Rauner has vetoed, state lawmakers also could dig into other issues, such as gun control, a topic that is in focus after the tragic mass shooting in Las Vegas.
