Two-Brain Radio: From Gas-Station Gym to 5,000-Square-Foot Facility With Jonathan Watt
Jonathan Watt owns Townie: a Fitness Community, a 5,000-square-foot gym in Thomasville, Georgia—but that's not where he started.
Jonathan first opened the gym in the garage of an abandoned, 800-square-foot gas station. He announced the opening date on Facebook, showed up for the 5:30-a.m. class and prayed someone would show up.
The gym enjoyed steady organic growth, eventually moving to the large facility it's in today, but the more it grew, the more hats Jonathan had to wear. After the birth of his first child, he knew he needed help—so he joined the Two-Brain family.
Today, Jonathan has a staff, a playbook and a marketing plan that helped him turn $286 in ad spend into $5,000 in front-end revenue. Most importantly, with a second child on the way, he has a path toward longstanding success.
