It’s Thursday, that means its time for the Try and Tackle podcast, brought to you by Province Sports.
The Canadian men and U18s have wrapped up their tours, on the heels of the women finishing their own November sojourn.
There were some notable results on the weekend – the epic Irish near-upset of the All Blacks, Georgia knocking off Samoa, Romania over Tonga…
New Zealand rugby personality Ken Laban drops by to share his views of those results, and also to give a look ahead to the Dubai Sevens. Laban knows plenty about the game for Tier II countries, he’s a big believer in the underdog.
Rugby Canada’s Mike Chu also drops in, to give an inside look on the three tours, his trip to the World Rugby Conference in Dublin and a thing or two about RC’s hopes for BC Place.
And then there’s the weekly roundtable. Jeff Hull and Curtis Reed as always and The Guardian’s Martin Pengelly joins us for the second straight week.
