	Description:		November is Native American Heritage Month, and today is Native American Heritage Day (which we believe should be celebrated every day of the year). Coming into this season, the Minuteman began reading Robin Wall Kimmerer's BRAIDING SWEETGRASS, which inspired today's special report. The goal in reciting the Haudenosaunee Thanksgiving Address is not to appropriate it, but to share the deep and beautiful connection the indigenous peoples had and continue to have to the natural world - and to highlight the stark contrast to contemporary society's capitalist perspective on the Earth and its non-human inhabitants as simply resources to be bought, sold, traded, and from which to profit.
