This week we talk about competition vs. real life, and how competitive matches will never be the perfect, but they are the best thing we have.
The News:
Misguided Moms get kicked out of Chipotle after harassing and photographing paying customers who were open carrying.
A shooting range in Oklahoma is looking to get a liquor license so that patrons can grab a beer after shooting. Is this really any different than driving around the corner to a bar to get a beer?
The US House added and passed an amendment to a budget bill this last week to up funding for NICS checks by $19.5 million. This is roughly a 30% increase in the NICS budget, and is supposed to go toward getting states to share more information with NICS, but the details are still slim.
Looks like there may be a S&W Shield release without a thumb safety in the future. We found this picture floating around on Facebook this afternoon, and it looks quite interesting...
The Charlotte, NC police department arrested a ring of criminals who admit to targeting vehicles with gun related stickers on them for larcenies. Apparently thieves DO look for your stickers. Be careful how much information you put out there.
Plug of the Week:
This week's plug goes out to FiberOpticProducts.com, these folks sell fiber optic rod for super cheap that I use in the sights of my pistols. They ship quickly, and for under $10 I have enough to replace the fiber optic insert in my front sight about a hundred or more times. Check them out.
Tip of the Week:
Ben reads a tip that was left in a YouTube comment on the Triangle Tactical YouTube page. We're still scratching our heads about it...
