	Description:		For most of us, the idea of having a solid, Christ-like character is appealing; it is something we desire to have and to be. Unfortunately, it can often be difficult to define. By default, “character” becomes something that we wish we would see more in others. You ask just about anyone and they will tell you that they are a person of character and have no intention of changing that. Nobody wakes up in the morning wondering how they might go about ruining their character that day. And yet, it happens … you lose your job, a spouse walks out, the IRS shows up on your front door, or the blue and red lights flash in your rearview mirror. It usually doesn’t happen all at once, but little by little – one defining moment at a time. Character assassins can creep into our lives and threaten our peace, our relationships, and our future. They are well-trained and offer no mercy. Don’t be a victim to these subtle assassins.
