When you have a lot to say, it’s always tough to decide where to start. Podcasting is no different. We have so many ideas, topics and news articles we both want to share, but where do you jump in?
We started the show with a little about us. Rather than retype it here, just visit our ABOUT page for a quick introduction.
Our First Popup Camper
We’re still digging through our photo box, but we will find a picture of that first tent trailer, or pop up camper as they are more commonly called. We had a blast with that little setup.
We’ve owned or rented several types of RVs through the years. We’ve even done our share of tent camping. We always seem to come back to the compact, easy to use side of RVing.
Helping You Make Camping Easy and Fun
We had a blast with that first pop up, and there was a bigger one in our future. Part of the reason we had so much fun was our ability to keep it simple. We plan on sharing a ton of camping hacks to help you do the same. Everything from the initial setup to taking down camp is fair game.
Mistakes We’ve Made
In our passion for camping and RVing as a family, we have made a few mistakes. As we publish new episodes we will share these mistakes. If some of our mistakes can help someone get it right the first time, it’s well worth our effort.
Our Pickup and Camper
When it came time to become RV owners again, we considered several options. As much as we loved our pop up trailers and some of the other RVs we’ve owned, we settled on a pickup and slide-in camper. Any RV choice is a compromise, and our camper is no different.
The funny part is how much in common this choice has with the pop up camper. Both are easily affordable, easy to use and fairly easy on the tow vehicle. Granted, the pickup camper does require you own a pickup.
