A few of our coffee brewing appliances

If you know us at all, you know we love coffee. Good coffee. We’ve even been called coffee snobs a time or two. We buy whole beans, grind them with a bur grinder and use a Bella drip maker for our daily use.

We have a few other coffee systems in our kitchen that come to mind.

  • 2 french presses
  • Espresso machine
  • Cold brew coffee maker
  • Pour-over coffee maker

But now there’s something new. The coffee pipe. I don’t see any of us firing up a brew any time soon, but what do you think? Check out the Bripe at their fund raising page. It looks like they’ve raised about 18 grand so far.

Beer Honors National Parks

Okay. Maybe they just want to sell more beer, but the cans are cool. Uinta Brewing brings us beer packaging that honors the country’s national parks. Check out the cool cans with national park themed labels. They’re getting a little backlash for not turning over some of the profits to the park services, but the cans are cool. I don’t even drink, but I’d love to have a set of these.

Do You Trust The Water You Drink While Traveling?

As a truck driver, I’ve hauled bottled water out of several bottling plants. I’ve also heard and read stories about municipalities with contaminated water. Kris and I have even had letters from our city water department, warning us about problems with the water. Usually, the problems were found months back, but they’re finally telling us about it.

UPDATE: We didn’t get to the bottled water conversation. We will save it for episode 29.
