Coach Charles Gazaway is a former professional basketball player who is currently coaching the Rocklin, CA-based Hotshots Elite AAU team. Coach played collegiately at LSU and went on to play professional basketball overseas. Coach went through a kidney and pancreas transplant back in late 2016. Coach talks about coaching today's youth and how to motivate them in this cell phone/video game culture. Coach also discusses the AAU basketball scene and gives his thoughts on whether it is good for the game or not? And Tony reads Coach some feedback from parents with regard to race, and how Coach has been a positive role model to a team full of, as one parent described them, "lily-white kids" who now have a better view of people as people, despite the color of their skin, thanks to Coach Charles. If you are interested in donating to the Coach Charles Hotshots Elite team's trip to San Diego for the California Games, please visit http://paypal.me/TheVirtualCouch to donate. All donations go directly to the team to cover travel expenses for their trip to the tournament from July 13-15, 2018.
