If you want to end the contract early, do not end it, just pay it up. It's cheaper if you stay a customer. Check the forums, see what other customers are being offered. Many offer alerts so you can be first to know, even if the operator removes the post later you have a copy from email. Make sure you know the terms and conditions, when they offer something you like get them to note it on your account and read it back at the end of the call. If you don't know these, you could haggle yourself into a corner. They will probably honour any agreement even if it is a mistake if written down. Most importantly be polite!
