Ethiopia's peace prize winner's war

Description: Ethiopia's prime minister Abiy Ahmed was 2019's Nobel Peace Prize winner, but some fear he's on the way to becoming a dictator. Over the weekend, the Ethiopian government claims it quelled an uprising in the country's northern Tigray region, scattering fighters from the Tigray People's Liberation Front to the hills. But independently verifying what has been happening in Tigray is difficult, because the Ethiopian Government has switched off the internet and disabled phone lines there, and journalists say they've been intimidated and have had to leave the country. So what is happening on the ground in the world's 12 most populous country? And is Abiy Ahmed's government becoming just as brutal as its predecessors?
