As General Secretary of the Queensland Nurses and Midwives Union, Sarah Beaman is a proud nurse, feminist and unionist.
Sarah's union journey all started at the grass roots level following a conversation with her union organiser, when she asked what the union was doing about an entitlement she was no longer receiving.
What Sarah's organiser said next shocked her, spurred her into action and to fight to improve the lives of nurses and midwives across Queensland.
