During the Podcast
I believe that setting personal goals are important to successfully accomplishing our life’s vision. There are several quotes that come to mind that drives this concept home.
What we are is God’s gift to us. What we become is our gift to God. ~ Eleanor Powell
People with goals succeed because they know where they’re going. ~ Earl Nightingale
All our dreams can come true –if we have the courage to pursue them. ~ Walt Disney
If you don’t know where you are going, you’ll end up someplace else. ~ Yogi Berra
When setting goals it is important to create SMART goals.
- Specific
- Measurable
- Attainable
- Relevant
- Time Bound
Also, when setting goals, it is important to include objectives for each goal. From there Naomi suggested that Jared created action plans for each goal so that he has a plan to attain each of his goals.
