Description: LOUD Weekend is an expansion of Bang on a Can’s long-running Bang on a Can Marathon at MASS MoCA - tripling that programming from one day, to three days. Over this coming weekend, more than 30 concerts will take place in at MASS MoCA’s vast galleries and throughout its collection of indoor and outdoor performing arts venues. Over the past 30 years, Bang on a Can co-founder and artistic director Michael Gordon has produced a diverse body of work, ranging from large-scale pieces for high-energy ensembles to major orchestral commissions to works conceived specifically for the recording studio.
