Description: Global pop star, 3-time Grammy winner, singer-songwriter, actress, and activist Angélique Kidjo is coming to UPAC in Kingston, New York with her hit tour “Remain in Light.” The tour, and accompanying album, released last September and produced by Jeff Bhasker, is a re-imagining, song by song, of Talking Heads’ 1980 album of the same name - which features the seminal and iconic song “Once in a Lifetime.” Kidjo's new album "Celia," a tribute to Celia Cruz, will be released by Verve on April 19.
