Rob, Greg, Mike and Jeff discussion inflation and hyperinflation. Our goal for this podcast was to explore what hyperinflation might look like in this country. We cover historical inflationary events, define some terms and look at what it could mean for us here in the USA. In short, we don't really know, other than it's not going to be pretty. Severe inflationary periods is never easy on the people, and hyperinflation can bring out the worst in people.
Rob tries to steer the conversation away from politics, but Jeff points out several times that it's sometimes difficult to do as politics is often what drive us into hyperinflation. |
