One in four adults or approximately 61.5 million Americans can experience mental illness in a given year. This means anyone who isn't suffering directly from mental illness is most likely living with or knows someone who is. With so many afflicted in america one might assume there is no hope. This week's episode I share my experience living with my brother who suffered from schizophrenia. I go on to talk with Tiffany who has bipolar disorder. She takes her personal demons by the horns and shows that there is hope for people with mental illness. |
