I joke in the title of this episode that Nathan is stealing my dreams.  Well, in every joke there is just a little truth, or it's just not funny.  This young man is doing it all.  He is a finalist for the American Star Award at the National FFA Convention this October in agribusiness.  This is as a result of the agricultural communications and marketing business that he started while in high school, Innovative Communications and Marketing.  He has podcasted, makes videos and designs websites.   But wait, there's more!  Nathan also has a love of the weather as I do.  While we were prepping for the interview I told him that I had written a fan letter to a meteorologist named Jill Brown at the "The Weather Channel" while I was in college and received a response lovingly calling me a "weather weanie".  He followed up that statement by telling me that he had just finished an internship in Atlanta, working for The Weather Channel! Can you believe it?  I have looked into what it would take to become a meteorologist several times over the past 20 years, and here he is almost done with a degree in meteorology from Ball State University and has already worked at TWC! Well, it was a thrill to speak with Nathan and find out about his business.  Best of luck to him at the national convention in October! REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA: Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth.
