As I have been privileged to interview more and more FFA students I have started to notice a recurring theme that is pretty special.  I have interviewed a number of students who have a business that has been started by either their older brother or sister.  That is the case with today's guest, Emily Glenn. Emily's brother started Glenn Show Feeds some years back and passed it along to her when it was her turn in FFA.  Today Emily is selling animal feed to several people in and around her county in Kansas as well as in other states.  She is learning about inventory control, markup and retail plus many other aspects of business.   I hope you enjoy getting to hear about this great business. REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA: Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth.
