Our guest today is definitely making the most of his FFA experience.  Clay Stearns is serving as both his chapter's president and his district's vice-president. He also has three different SAE's - raising and selling show lambs, showing and selling dairy heifers and wildlife conservation.  He is taking advantage of all of the opportunities that living in New Mexico and being the FFA give to him. In this episode I chose to focus in on a unique opportunity that Clay has in his region regarding dairy heifers.  Clay is able to lease a dairy heifer from a local dairy, fit it, show it and then sell it back to the dairy or another dairy farmer at auction.  There is a lot of community support from the local dairy industry here. and it might be a model for other regions of the country.
