Description: SHOW NOTES INTRODUCING JUDD DUTTON! Every now and then I run across a student with the same story that Judd Dutton has.  Basically, they are super passionate about something, and that leads to a high level of talent.  Pretty soon the combination of their talent and passion leads to people noticing what they are doing and appreciating their work.  All of the sudden the people around the student start to see the opportunity that is in front of them and encourage them to take it to the next level. That is what happened with Judd.  He loves hunting and starting getting into taxidermy early on in his life.  So early in fact, that by the time he was 13 years old his friends and family were encouraging him to start a  taxidermy business.  Judd says that this all started with social media.  He put some photographs up of what he was doing, and it caught a lot of people's attention.  Soon, adults were asking him to create mounts for them.  This eventually turned into a business and Judd has been at it ever since. Judd had some good advice for anyone wanting to get into taxidermy.  Work on your own stuff or any animals you can procure for years before you start working on other people's.  This gives you the opportunity to make mistakes with no consequences before people start relying on you. REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA: Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth. Farmers, ranchers and those working in agriculture give the rest of America incredible amounts of freedom because the search for food is as simple as going to the grocery store: "Because American farmers are able to provide for so many of us, they give more and more of us the freedom to pursue goals and livelihoods beyond growing the food we need to survive."
