Description:   SHOW NOTES: INTRODUCING KILLIAN GEORGE! When you are starting your first business you always are nervous about whether or not your product or service will sell.  A lot of times we will start with family and friends a customers, just to kind of get the momentum going and to build confidence.  However, you don't really know if you have a viable business if people who don't care about your feelings are not spending money on you. That brings us to our guest for this episode, Killian George.  Killian has a market livestock SAE, and she has been showing animals for years.  But it was when other families started coming to her and asking her to show animals for them that she knew that she was doing something real. These other folks are looking for success in the show ring, and they want their animals presented in the best manner possible.  They are not going to have someone putting their livestock on display who is not good at what they do.  There is no better proof that Killian could receive than the confidence these folks put in her. This talent has lead Killian to multiple proficiency awards and helped her to become a regional star farmer. Killian is now running for state office.  She will find success wherever she goes. REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA: Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth. Farmers, ranchers and those working in agriculture give the rest of America incredible amounts of freedom because the search for food is as simple as going to the grocery store: "Because American farmers are able to provide for so many of us, they give more and more of us the freedom to pursue goals and livelihoods beyond growing the food we need to survive."
