In the title I could not decide whether to talk about Raegan’s competitive nature or her travel to Africa with the FFA. Ultimately the trip to Uganda to teach sustainable agriculture won out. Raegan Gembarski has been on a terror since she joined the FFA. During our interview she expressed some regrets for not getting involved and taking full advantage sooner. But she is not letting anything hold her back now. Since becoming a member of the FFA Raegan has served as her chapter’s president, her region’s reporter and is now serving as the Michigan State Secretary. She started out focused on equine science, but then something sparked her and she switched her SAE to agricultural communications. Now she talks about the FFA and anything else agriculture that she can. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation. The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth.
