I had a great conversation with Dave Carter, the executive director, while I was there, and we agreed to do an interview after we each got home. In today’s interview Dave really enlightened me about the bison business in the United States. So much so, that I think it would be plausible to raise bison whereas before this interview it was something that I thought was out of reach for me. This is a very interesting niche market, and it might be what you are looking for as you explore ways that you can farm successfully. There are some things to consider other than just the challenges in handling these animals. But for every perceived negative, there is a positive that can make up for it.
