Kansas City!
I spent last week in Kansas City at the National Association Of Farm Broadcaster’s Conference. This was the first time that I had ever gone, and it was a trip well worth taking. It all started with the flight. I had a window seat on the leg from Denver to KC, and I got a 30,000 foot view of Kansas all the way across the state. It definitely made me think of the great song written by Neil Thrasher Jr., Flyover States. What a beautiful patchwork quilt of agriculture.
At the convention I met a myriad of farm broadcasters from all sorts of different backgrounds and at different stages of their careers. I also met with multiple agricultural companies who were there for a part of the convention called “Trade Talk”. There were several great agricultural companies all in a room together giving out interview after interview to farm broadcasters.
On today’s episode I highlight several of the people I was able to speak with from those companies and what we talked about. I hope you enjoy it!
