Damian Mason grew up on a traditional dairy farm in Indiana. He got his agricultural economics degree from Purdue University and then went into sales outside of agriculture. Along the way Damian realized that working for someone else was not what he preferred. He also realized that he enjoyed getting up in front of a crowd and speaking, and that he was funny. This led Damian to a career speaking about agriculture all over the country. He has a great way of getting his point across with humor in a very professional manner. It is a special skill. Damian is also an author, and he has just released a new book called Do Business Better: Traits, Habits, and Actions To Help You Succeed. ADVICE FROM DAMIAN: SPEAK WELL: Don’t get caught up running down your competition. Speak well about your products, livestock, etc, but don’t resort to saying negative things about your competition.
