Description: SHOW NOTES INTRODUCING KRISTIN KOTAS! For an agricultural podcaster who interviews FFA students, the National Convention is just a cornucopia of great interviews.  Today's guest, Kristin Kotas, was a student that I was able to stumble across at the convention and interview.  She is doing a number of interesting things. Kristin was at the convention competing in milk and cheese judging.  She gave me a great education on what it takes to judge both milk and cheese.  In addition to that she has a great entrepreneurial SAE.  She has a t-shirt business, and she is leveraging her story of being an FFA member to help grow this business. This business was inspired by Kristin's mother.  Kristin has a passion for graphic design, and she does the designs for her shirt company.  She also is in charge of marketing, shipping and product fulfillment.  She has a great business mind, and I am looking forward to profiling it here for you. REASONS TO DONATE TO FFA: Only 2% of Americans grow and raise most of the food and livestock consumed by the other 98% as well as the rest of the world.  FFA is providing the needed education, training and resources to Americans that will carry that torch forward and insure that America continues to have inexpensive, quality food. Rural Communities will rely on entrepreneurship in the future for population growth and job creation.  The FFA is a major catalyst to that entrepreneurial growth. Farmers, ranchers and those working in agriculture give the rest of America incredible amounts of freedom because the search for food is as simple as going to the grocery store: "Because American farmers are able to provide for so many of us, they give more and more of us the freedom to pursue goals and livelihoods beyond growing the food we need to survive."
