There were so many tournaments over the weekend there is barely enough time to cover everything in one show. On a side not, this is the second shortest school bus aired yet. You can make short bus jokes if you want, but Reynolds did not join us this week, so those jokes would be moot. We cover the top 8 of the United States National Championship, where fellow Coloradoan (not sure that’s a word) almost took it down. Canadian, French and Italian nationals were covered as well as GP Kobe where a new deck emerged called “Faeries” to win the whole thing. There is discussion of the new red heavy archetypes appearing in Standard and Block with some.The MSB Institute for Advanced Magic Studies has a quick run down on bluffs and examples of how to use your opponents knowledge against him (or the rare occasional her).Next week, Rob and James, along with Reynolds and Alex Lee will be making a stop on the bus as we do another live cast from the Holiday Inn DIA (or whatever it’s called now) for the second Grand Prix Denver. You never know, maybe some A list celeb players will be getting a ride as well.
