A band of murderous outlaws are hiding in the hills outside of Greenville, despite the fact that a US Cavalry Regiment is stationed there. Colonel Dawson, who is in charge of the Regiment, refuses to attack the outlaws until he receives orders from Washington. The Lone Ranger and Tonto discover the body of a Pony Express Rider - who was carrying those orders! Unfortunately, the letter containing the orders is destroyed! Can the Masked Rider convince the colonel he has orders, before it's too late? |
