Tonight on The Last Word: Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced via Twitter that President Trump has asked John Bolton to invite Vladimir Putin to the White House, which, during an interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, took Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats by surprise.   Also today, House Republicans voted against subpoenaing the interpreter who attended President Trump’s private meeting with Vladimir Putin. Rep. Eric Swalwell, former Ambassador Nicholas Burns, John Heilemann, Ron Klain, and presidential interpreter Harry Obst join Lawrence O’Donnell. Glenn Kirschner, former assistant US attorney, also joins with some possible reasons Robert Mueller has not subpoenaed Donald Trump.
