In this Sunday edition: We meet the local couple who created the memorial outside of the Star Ballroom Dance Studio for the victims of the Monterey Park shooting. 

And, the deadline for ending COVID-era eviction protections got pushed...and then pushed again. Understandably, tenants and landlords are confused. In this week's installment of How To L.A., we'll talk about how we got to this point, and what might happen next.

Then….throughout the pandemic, local eviction limits have allowed renters in L.A. County to keep unauthorized pets at home. But, despite the ongoing legal protections, some landlords are now telling tenants to get rid of their pets — or give up their homes. David Wagner will bring us more on that story.

Plus, LAPD Chief Michel Moore will continue to head the nation's second largest police department. We'll have a conversation about a vote that came even after many people expressed displeasure with the chief…
